It was like that when I got here.
WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary. This means Quafe suits are the optimal loadout for killing all of you.

CCP internal investigations personnel have not fast-roped onto my roof and breached my home upon the utterance of this accusation.
I believe it can safely be determined that despite your accusation, I am not, in fact, Rattati's alt.

That is by far the most effective I have seen you while discussing a very 2 sided problem. I would want the community opinion on this, but I would want a CPM who has the passion you do for Vehicle vs AV to stay back if that conversation is raised again. Sorry, but you were always gas on that fire. Soraya - Could you throw in another question going forward? Something that was thrown at your generation of CPM in some nastier threads. "How does (Candidate Name) plan on staying in touch with the community if he is elected a CPM2 member?"
the assumption that there is only one side that should be considered (even if it is my side) is a bad assumption, and needs to die in a fire overall.
There is no one person who is 100% correct, or has all the answers, despite claims to the contrary. THAT, more than anything else, is what draws me into the AV/V debates. Sometimes someone has to throw a match just to see how much powder was dropped on the floor.
But long story short, until CCP provides a guiding vision for vehicles, the debate will always rage, and it will always be stupid-hot. More than anything else on the topic, I would like to have CCP set a guiding vision on vehicles that is clear and understandable by the playerbase. That way we have more of a framework to develop from than "AV is OP" or "Tanks are OP" or (insert diatribe on the topic here).
In the end, regardless of what anyone perceives as my position, vehicle players have as much right to have a sustainable profession in the game, right alongside infantry. Not on top of them, nor being trod upon by them, but with them. It's that simple. I am not, nor ever have been interested in a one-sided solution to that topic, which is merely one of many.
I figure if the answer were as simple as "nerf Av" or "buff av" or "nerf vehicles" or "buff vehicles" then it would have been done already and the entire topic laid to rest outside a few maniacal diehards who think their chosen style should be hands-down better than all comers. I wish it WERE that simple.
But AV and V are hardly my only area of interest in DUST. It is merely the one where one has to yell the loudest to be heard for a few moments.

Hell I'll answer questions as I spot them until CCP lets us put actual campaign threads into the appropriate forums
Here, there, wherever, so long as I spot them or someone draws attention to them as best I can.
